The interest in Bodom Trail participation is much larger than the event capacity. The most critical bottleneck especially on Saturday is limited parking space. Therefore we are arranging charter buses to the event from six locations around Helsinki: Itäkeskus, Tikkurila, Helsinki city centre, Leppävaara, Matinkylä and Espoo centre.
The more runners arrive by race buses, the more runners we can fit in to the event. For each additional full bus on top of last year’s five buses, we will open 50 new starting places (max 200 slots). So, if you come by bus, you will help another runner to fit in.
Coming by bus is very affordable (10€ two-way, cheaper than with regular public transport one way tickets), convenient (we’ll deliver your race material to bus) and fast (non-stop directly to the event centre). What’s more, it’s environmentally friendly and gives you an opportunity to learn to know other runners and to enjoy the event atmosphere already on the way.
