Trail running has been growing quickly in Finland in the past few year. An important growth driver are the fantastic trail running events that attract more and more people to run on our beautiful trails. Nuuksio Classic Trail Marathon and Bodom Trail have been in a leading role to support this development.
Bodom Trail and Nuuksio Classic are now stating a new initiative to improve the athletic level of trail running in Finland. The events establish a new trail running team Team Noux that is supporting its members to reach an international top level, sharing information of successful training principles to other trail runners and promotes trail running as elite sports in Finland.
Team Noux started in autumn 2018. The team consists of four promising athletes to whom the team wants to build ideal training conditions. In addition the team has experienced coaches and other support persons. Find out more on the team website.
